Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish, born 7 August 1982 in Australia, is an actress. Cornish is known for playing Heidi in Somersault (2004), Fanny Brawne (Bright Star 2009) and Sweet Pea as Sucker Punch (2011), Lindy in Limitless (2012), Clara Murphy (RoboCop) (2014) and Sarah in Geostorm(2017). She worked along with Martin McDonagh to produce Seven Psychopaths and Three Billboards Beyond Ebbing Missouri. The latter movie Cornish was awarded her first Screen Actors Guild Award as an actor in the film. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, who starred in Adventureland as well as The Mothman Prophecies among other films, was her father. Ann McDonough played the mother in the film. Betty Gilpin was able to make the choice to be an actor thanks to the love and support she received from her parents. Fordham College is where Betty Gilpin learned her craft. Gilpin was still auditioning for television and film parts while appearing in Off Broadway plays. Gilpin was able to land a regular role in the network's Law & Order: Criminal Intent between the years 2001-2011. This was followed by tiny roles as a ghost in Ghost Town and The Northern Kingdom. Gilpin was able to land a few TV guest spots throughout the following years until she was able to get her first break in 2013 when she was offered a recurring role in the show Nurse Jackie. Gilpin was a part of Nurse Jackie for 34 episodes as the character Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin before it ended its run on June 2015. In the following year, Gilpin made an appearance in the thriller-mystery True Story (2015).
