She refused to learn English and hoped she could return to Argentina. She had to switch schools from Northlands in order to attend Hill House. Then she went to Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and was a part in plays. When she was 16, she left school to focus fully on acting. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to work as an actress. her dreams came true when she was approached for a modeling gig by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
